According to Shahr News: Ahmad Torkman during the visit of the mayor and the urban managers to the Bigdeli Boostan, referring to the challenges of the green space in district 5 stated that district 5 is among the less-privileged districts of Qom and it has the lowest of the green space,
He said that the development of the green space is among the priorities of the municipality of district 5 and Bigdeli Boostan is one of the projects of this district which is meant to improve the green space condition, and it will be usable very soon.
The mayor of district 5 stated that this Boostan is located at the end of Shahr-e Qaem and the major part of its operations have been done.
He said that playground for children, skate ground, Basketball field, and pavement and bicycle band are among the accommodations of this Boostan. He said that this Boostan also had a parking area and W.C services.
Bigdeli Boostan has 4 acres of land and its first phase with 3 acres will be ready soon.
He also said that the budget for this project has been 13 billion and 400 million Rials. 30% of which were financed by the supreme leader and the rest was provided by the municipality.
The mayor of district 5 also added that this project has had 50% development and by the end of summer it will give services to the citizens of Qom.
